The problem is that though the song runs its course, there are a lot of variations and subtle differences between two apparently identical passages. It was tricky figuring out where to start, like a lot of his other tunes. It turned out that this song is in standard tuning with a capo on the third fret. There is a second guitar that is tuned to "drop D", and then capoed on the third fret as well. That turns the "drop D" into a "drop F". You can hear that second guitar in select spots in the song, but really it can be played accurately with just one guitar, and it simplifies the transcription. I didn't write down the exact series of chord strums, I only wrote the sequence that they come in- even if a chord appears once on the tablature, it may actually continue strumming for a measure or two. The best thing to do would be to sit down next to the stereo with this in front of you and match things up as they appear.
